Rare Datsun U320 ute on ebay

July 20th, 2010

Spotted this rare 1965 Datsun U320 extra cab ute on ebay. Would be a nice car to add to the collection, but sadly the way things are going at the moment, my cars may end up joining this one for sale on ebay. From the ebay advert: DATSUN 1200 U320 EXTRA CAB UTE 1965 MODEL... BELIEVED TO BE ONLY 1000 U320s MADE WORLDWIDE. 15 WERE SOLD NEW IN AUST. Datsun U320 The U320 is a 4 seat version of the N320 with a smaller cargo area. It has a one piece body, the cabin and the cargo sections are joined together, there is no gap between them. The U320 has doors that are a couple of inches longer than the 320. The front bench seat has a one piece base and a 2 piece backrest. Each side of the backrest hinges both forward and towards the middle to allow access to the rear seat. The ute was registered in qld till 2007. It has had a engine transplant and re-powered by a fork lift electric motor, sadly it does not run anymore. It doesn't seem to have a great deal of rust but does have panel damage - rear drivers guard, front passenger guard, roof. The rear seat is missing, all chrome strips and babges seem to be there. Defiantly a great vehicle to restore.

1964 PRINCE SKYLINE S54B-2 GT2000

December 10th, 2009

First post in the new "Spotted" section, where I present photos of various interesting, well, to me at least, mostly Japanese cars. Spotted for sale on carsales.com.au was this 1964 Prince Skyline GT 2000. This car is located in New South Wales. Asking price is $13,000. I'd swap my Super 6 for this Skyline in a heartbeat, but I think the owner would not be interested ;). UPDATE: Car has now been sold. Photos:
